Located on the west side of Orange County, Seal Beach is a beautiful city that is the ideal and dreamland for any beach goer and surfer. It is a place for the family to go to together. Traveling, however, can become an issue if one of our seniors at A-1 Home Care has a history or has recently experienced a heart attack, stroke, and any other life-threatening events. But at the same time, our amazing, and skilled, caregivers understand the patience and caution that it takes in order for our senior clients to get back on track and monitor their health more than ever. This does not mean that they should stay indoors at all times, unless bed-ridden due to medical reasons, but to get outside every once in a while. After all, studies have shown that being around other people, especially loved ones, reduces anxiety and stress.
Some fun activities that our seniors can spend with their family, especially grandchild(ren), are:
- Beach — Take a walk on the pier; sight-see the ocean and other beautiful views; grab a bite to eat at the famous, Hennessey’s; and visit, and depending what the doctor consults, grab some food and a drink at Clancy’s with your of age adult grandchild(ren).
- Watch a pretty sunset at Wildlife Refuge.
- Go shopping — The California Cottage has some raved reviews.
